Bangkok’s Red Light District is divided by three famous quarters, Soi Cowboy, Nana Plaza and the World Famous Patpong. Other areas that are now gone includes Clinton Plaza and Soi Zero. Smaller areas of nightlife include Soi 33, Soi 22 and Washington Square, more is side-sois of Sukhumvit from Soi 5 to Soi 19, Silom and Surawong Side-sois and the Thai GoGo Disctrict of Saphan Kwai or better known as Buffalo Bridge. To get a glimpse of what the old days were in the 70’s get to the still existing bars from that Period like Kiss Bar or Safari in Patpong, they have changed almost nothing 30 years later. Most Bars open from 8PM till 2AM in the morning.
NEWSFLASH: Any news on the new GoGo Bar on Nana Plaza called Straps, located on the second floor of Nana Plaza please email us.
The lease of Nana has been renewed for another 30 years and has been taken over by a group with large interest in nighlife, as this will mean the Nana Plaza as we know it will keep on existing. Good news for current owners but rental prices might expect to go up a bit. Hoping this will cause many owners to try to do something new and refershing in their bars. I mean half of the places have not been renovated in ages.
